Nordic Securities Association
Welcome to the Nordic Securities Association. The association is a Nordic cooperation that works to promote a sound securities market primarily in the Nordic region. The association is formed by the Danish Securities Dealers Association (Børsmæglerforeningen), the Federation of Finnish Financial Services (Finanssialan Keskusliitto), the Norwegian Securities Dealers Association (Verdipapirforetakenes Forbund) and the Swedish Securities Dealers Association (Svenska Fondhandlareföreningen).
Nordic Securities Association was founded 25 November 2008 when a long standing cooperation between the member associations was formalised.
We are registered to the EU Transparency Register (622921012417-15).
Position on the ESMA Technical Advice on MiFID II and MiFIRThe NSA welcomes ESMA's Final Technical Advice on MiFID II and MiFIR. The Position Paper highlights key issues for Nordic securities markets. The paper advocates a careful calibration of equity markets transparency requirements and need to dismantle market data monopolies. Some technical details have wider macro-economic impact on SME financing. In this respect the NSA is concerned about unintended consequences of regulatory treatment of financial research.
